About the Position

The Three Rivers School District Board is searching for an educational leader to serve as Superintendent beginning July 1, 2016.  The successful candidate will be an empowering leader, have excellent listening and communication skills, and be committed to serving all students.

We offer salary and benefits that are competitive with comparable school districts.  The Board anticipates a base salary in the range of $125,000 to $130,000 plus benefits.

About the District

The Three Rivers School District is a rural school district in southwestern Oregon serving about 4,400 students in seven elementary schools, three middle schools, three high schools, a correctional school and two charter schools.  Three Rivers School District serves all of Josephine County (with the exception of the city of Grants Pass) and a small portion of Jackson County (Applegate School), covering over 1200 square miles. Aptly named, Three Rivers School District serves students in three distinct attendance areas: Hidden Valley, Illinois Valley, and North Valley, which coincide with the Applegate, Illinois, and Rogue rivers. The district is made up of several small communities, and has an operating budget of $67.5 million.  Three Rivers is a Professional Learning Communities (PLC) district, uses district-wide collaboration to develop common formative assessments, and offers rich professional development opportunities for staff.   • Letter of interest detailing how you meet the qualifications and your reasons for wanting to be Superintendent of Three Rivers School District
  • Current Resume
  • Three to five letters of recommendation
  • A copy of your Oregon Superintendent License or Continuing Administrative License
  • Statement of Leadership Style (1 page)
  • Statement of Educational Philosophy (1 page)
