About the Postion

Pendleton School District is seeking a leader with an outstanding record in the field of education to serve as superintendent beginning July 1, 2016. The Board anticipates a base salary in the range of $127,500 to $140,000 plus benefits for the position.

About the District

Pendleton School District has distinct advantages not always found in districts of a similar size. Its students score well on state achievement tests. Students who plan to attend college score well above state and national scores on the Scholastic Aptitude Test. The district is staffed with many dedicated long-term employees. Pendleton schools have outstanding programs with instruction in band, choir, and orchestra at the middle and senior high schools; robust sports programs with a reputation for winning, attributed in large part to the tremendous support of the community; and many school-related clubs, organizations, and extracurricular activities giving students the opportunity to be involved in their schools and community.
