We are having a public information session on the budget hosted by the superintendent. The full board will be there and will answer questions. Do we need to post this meeting?
If the board members are attending in their official capacity and will be expected to participate in their board role, then a notice of the public information session should be posted. The notice should state that it is a public information session, hosted by the superintendent, at which the board will be available to answer questions; include the date, time and place. Notices should be provided to all persons and places that receive notice of regular and special board meetings. The board members must be careful to not discuss any other topic or use this public information session as an opportunity to take any board action.
