Job sharing refers to allowing two people to share a position. This allows the teachers to work part time if there are not currently part-time contracts available in the district. Job sharing is usually brought forward at request of the teachers seeking the adjustment. When teachers agree to a job share they usually share the duties and benefits from the position.
