8 a.m.: The Joint Ways and Means Education Subcommittee will hold an informational meeting on:

  • An education system overview.

3 p.m.: The House Higher Education Committee will hold an informational meeting on:

  • Financial aid programs.

3 p.m.: The Senate Education Committee will hold a work session on:

  • Interstate teacher licensure agreements to allow educator mobility (SB 279). 

3 p.m.: The Senate Education Committee will hold a public hearing on:

  • Modifying requirements of a Healthy and Safe Schools Plan related to integrated pest management (SB 426). 
  • Increasing school facilities grants (SB 285). 
  • School district ventilation requirements (SB 414). 

Wednesday

8 a.m.: The House Revenue Committee with the Senate Finance and Revenue Committee will hold an informational meeting on

  • The Oregon Economic and Revenue Forecast.

3 p.m.: The House Education Committee will hold a public hearing on:

  • Maintaining outdoor school programs (HB 3037). 
  • Recording school district boundaries (SB 271). 

3 p.m.: The House Education Committee will hold a work session on:

  • Helping student inventors (HB 2768). 

Thursday

11 a.m.: The House will vote on:

  • Exempting school employees from health care interpreter requirements (HB 2240). 

3 p.m.: The House Higher Education Committee will hold an informational meeting on:

  • An overview of community colleges.

3 p.m.: The Senate Education will hold a work session on:

  • Modifying abbreviated school day requirements (SB 819). 
  • Limiting charter school operations outside a sponsoring district (SB 767). 
  • Statements of economic interest for school board members (SB 292). 
  • Updating the Quality Education Model (SB 281). 

3 p.m.: The Senate Education Committee will hold a public hearing on:

  • Authorizing adults in custody to enroll in higher education programs (SB 270). 
  • Aligning state education agencies (SB 275).
