Monday 

8 a.m.: The Joint Ways and Means Education Subcommittee will hold an informational hearing on:

• Calculating the current service level for the State School Fund.

3 p.m.: The House Education Committee will hold a public hearing on:

• Prohibiting interscholastic activity fees (HB 2750).
• Establishing a task force on school starting times (HB 2751).
• Providing a stipend for school board members (HB 2753).
• Declaring children who are deaf, hard of hearing or deaf-blind have the same rights as children who are not (HB 2669).

Tuesday

3 p.m.: The Senate Education Committee will hold a public hearing on:

• Modifying the abbreviated school day program (SB 819).
• Requiring school superintendents to ensure access to education (SB 821).
• Clarifying education duties of the State Board of Education, Oregon Department of Education, superintendent of public instruction and district school boards (SB 290).
• Requiring the Oregon Department of Education to investigate allegations of noncompliance with laws related to discrimination, restraint and seclusion, and religious activity (SB 291).
• Requiring the Oregon Department of Education to annually determine if a school district or education service district is complying with state and federal law involving student health or safety, discrimination, special education, or access to education (SB 289).

Wednesday

3 p.m.: The Senate Finance and Revenue Committee will hold a public hearing on:

• Exempting some health care services from the corporate activity tax (SB 56).

3 p.m. The Joint Information Management and Technology Committee will be holding an informational hearing on:

• Cybersecurity (HB 2049).

Thursday

8:30 a.m.: The House Revenue Committee will hold a public hearing on:

• Altering the corporate activity tax (HB 2433).

3 p.m.: The Senate Education Committee will hold a work session on:

• Appropriating money for afterschool and summer programs (SB 531).
• Clarifying the education use of the corporate kicker (SB 521).
• Increasing reimbursement for vision screening (SB 276).
