11 a.m.: The Senate will vote on:

  • Restraining students (SB 963).

1 p.m.: The Senate Education Committee will hold a work session on:

  • Demonstrating Essential Learning Skills proficiency to receive a diploma (SB 456).
  • The Transfer Student Bill of Rights and Responsibilities (SB 730).
  • Requiring the Teacher Standards and Practices Commission to do all abuse investigations (SB 155).

1 p.m.: The Senate Education Committee will hold a public hearing and work session on:

  • Redefining “school employee,” “sexual conduct” and “student” for laws related to abuse and sexual conduct (SB 156).

1 p.m.: The Senate Education Committee will hold a public hearing and possible work session on:

  • Establishing investigatory procedures for reports of suspected sexual conduct (SB 960).

1 p.m.: The Senate Education Committee will hold a public hearing on:

  • Extending residency status provision for State School Fund distributions (SB 693 and SB 553).
  • Residency status of foster children (SB 905).

1 p.m.: The House Human Services and Housing Committee will hold a public hearing and possible work session on:

  • Developing curricula related to child safety (HB 3180).

1 p.m.: The House Judiciary Committee will hold a work session on:

  • Prohibiting the disclosure of tip line information (HB 2051).
  • Penalties for delayed response to public records requests (HB 2353).
  • Reporting on public records requests (HB 2431).

3 p.m.: The House Education Committee will hold a public hearing and possible work session on:

  • Urging Congress to fully fund the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (HJM 3).

3 p.m.: The House Education Committee will hold a public hearing on:

  • Prohibiting virtual public schools from using state money for promotional materials (HB 2516).
  • Increasing the special education funding threshold (HB 2676).
  • Studying academic credit transfers between community colleges and public universities (HB 3212).

3 p.m.: The House Education Committee will hold a work session on:

  • Paying for costs of students in residential alternative education programs (HB 2021).
  • Accelerated college credit program requirements (HB 2029).
  • Educator license fee renewal waivers (HB 2031).
  • Encouraging accelerated college credit programs (HB 2263).
  • Establishing Statewide School Safety and Prevention System (HB 2327).
  • Developing a statewide education plan for Latino students who have experienced disproportionate educational results (HB 2440).
  • Establishing Early Childhood Equity Fund (HB 2897).

5 p.m.: The House Human Services and Housing Committee will hold a public hearing on:

  • Permitting the school board to designate a staff member to receive mandatory child abuse reports (HB 2994).

6 p.m.: The Senate Workforce Committee and the House Business and Labor Committee will hold an informational meeting on:

  • Creating a family and medical leave insurance program (HB 3031 and HB 3385).

3 p.m.: The House Health Care Committee will hold a public hearing on:

  • Providing grants to evaluate need for school-based health services (HB 3165).

3 p.m.: The Senate Human Services Committee will hold a work session on:

  • Establishing the Youth Suicide Intervention and Prevention Advisory Committee (SB 707).

Wednesday

1 p.m.: The Senate Education Committee will hold a work session on:

  • Maintaining the Interstate Compact on Educational Opportunity for Military Children (SB 690A).
  • Funding a University of Oregon program to improve high school graduation through collaboration between faculty and high school teachers (SB 739).
  • Residency for military children (SB 802).

1 p.m. The Senate Education Committee will hold a public hearing on:

  • Developing a statewide youth re-engagement system (SB 692).
  • Public school firearm safety classes in first grade (SB 801).
  • Studying health standards for use of electronic media in classrooms (SB 282).
  • Requiring schools to distribute statements on potential health risks of wireless technology (SB 283).

1 p.m.: The Senate Education Committee will hold a public hearing and possible work session on:

  • State Board of Education rules for administering medication to reverse opioid drug overdoses (SB 665).

1 p.m.: The House Judiciary Committee will hold a public hearing on:

  • Appropriating money for Title IX enforcement (HB 2562).
  • Processes for addressing sexual harassment in schools (HB 3077).
