OSBA/COSA 2019 Legislative Report Available

The 2019 OSBA/COSA Legislative Report is now available! It contains information about more than 120 bills enacted during the 2019 legislative session that are of special significance to public schools and community colleges. The bills outlined include major initiatives such as the Student Success Act, and more targeted, discreet bills, including those about sports, student safety, elections and PERS.

The report was prepared jointly by OSBA and COSA staff. Our collaboration ensures that the interests of board members and administrators of school districts, education service districts and community colleges are weighed when policymakers consider state laws impacting public education in Oregon.
