Tuesday

The House will vote on:

  • Making class sizes a mandatory part of collective bargaining (HB 4113).

  • Simplifying the contracting process (HB 4127-A).

  • Allowing a person who works in the office of the state treasurer or secretary of state to serve on the State Board of Education (HB 4013-A).

  • Directing the Chief Education Office to study the training and retention of teachers serving students at rick for experiencing an achievement gap (HB 4044-A)

3 p.m. The House Higher Education and Workforce Development Committee will hold an informational meeting on funding for Oregon’s community colleges.

3 p.m. The Senate Workforce Committee will hold a public hearing on:

  • Allowing retired PERS members to be re-employed as career and technical education teachers without losing PERS benefits (HB 4012).

Wednesday

10 a.m. The House will vote on:

  • Requiring information to be shared with students and staff after a sexual harassment investigation (HB 4150-A).

Thursday

This is the last day for policy committees to assign bills from the opposite chamber to a work session.

Friday

1 p.m. The Joint Committee on Student Success will meet.
