Income guidelines released for school meal program

The Oregon Department of Education released income guidelines Wednesday for 2022-23 free and reduced-price school meals. 

The income limits are based on household size, and the Oregon Legislature provides funding so that students who qualify for reduced-price meals get them for free. Since the start of the pandemic, meals have been free for all students, but those waivers expire June 30.
