Oregon schools invited to join historic World Athletics Championships activities

Making Tracks offers K-12 school lesson plans and activities related to the World Athletics Championships coming to Eugene on July 15-24, a first for the United States.
Making Tracks, a youth engagement program created by the Oregon22 local organizing committee, offers content across five categories: global explorations, career explorations, arts and culture, S.T.E.M., and active healthy lifestyles.
Making Tracks is also seeking classrooms and schools to sign up for one-mile legs of the World Wide Welcome Youth Relay. The first 200 registered groups will be assigned a nation to welcome and receive a kit to participate between April 8 and July 14.
