Free online training available to apply for earthquake-readiness grants

Business Oregon, the state’s economic development agency, is offering free online training to help schools pursue grants for earthquake-readiness upgrades.
The 9 a.m.-to-noon Jan. 13 training will cover Seismic Rehabilitation Grant Program requirements, engineering report requirements and benefit-cost analysis as well as take questions. Participants must register by Jan. 11. Grant applications are due by Feb. 28.
