The board consists of up to 23 members from regional governance areas who create and promote OSBA programs and policies. OSBA Board members must be part of a board for a school district, education service district or community college in the region they represent.
OSBA will be accepting applications from the Marion (Position 11) and Washington (Position 15) regions until June 25. The appointed terms will run through Dec. 31, and candidates can run for a one-year term in the fall.
Contact OSBA’s Jane Leonhardt at jleonhardt@osba.org to receive an application packet or ask questions.
Applicants do not need to be nominated by their local board, and OSBA strongly encourages people of color to apply.
The OSBA Board will choose the new members at a special meeting. Applicants’ first expected meeting would be Sept. 17-19.
