The Oregon Students United Leadership Summit aims to connect students with their peers from around the state so they can share ideas with education leaders.
The Jan. 14 summit is open to all Oregon students ages 12-21. Students must register by Jan. 13. To learn more, students can reach out to the planning team at orstudentleaders@gmail.com.
The summit will also introduce the legislative effort to create a Racial Justice and Equity Student Leadership Council to give young people more voice in policymaking.
The summit will be co-hosted by the Oregon Association of Student Councils, REAP Inc., the Oregon Association of Secondary School Administrators, the Coalition of Oregon School Administrators, and the Oregon Department of Education.
