Much of the information in the report has already been released, but COVID-19’s disruption made impossible some of the data collection for the annual snapshot of the state of Oregon’s preK-12 public education system. Missing information includes class sizes, attendance and measures of progress.
The report to the Legislature prepared by the Oregon Department of Education still compiles a wealth of schools information, such as student and staff demographics, education initiatives and national comparisons.
“The students, families and educators of Oregon are persisting through the toughest education challenge in our state’s history,” Oregon Department of Education Director Colt Gill said in a news release.
