Revenue Reform and Schools

Thursday, January 24, 2019

Oregon school boards have struggled with fluctuating state funding for decades. As Oregon weighs how to adequately fund schools and offer high-quality programs, OSBA asked school board members their views on how the Legislature should improve the public education funding system. If you want to share your ideas for revenue reform, email Jake Arnold, jarnold@osba.org, with the subject line “Revenue reform and schools.”

Everyone is having a big push about attendance, but until we have a longer school year that is fully funded, I don’t know how we can say we are really valuing that.”
