An anonymous online survey of Oregon public school teachers and administrators will open up Feb. 24 for one month. The TELL (teaching, empowering, leading and learning) survey is designed to give teachers and administrators "the opportunity to shape the future of our schools," said Rob Saxton, state deputy superintendent of public instruction.
The TELL website is at www.telloregon.org. Access codes, which are required to take the survey, are being mailed to school principals in February. Results are expected to be made public in May.
The project is being led by the Oregon Department of Education, with support from the Oregon Education Association, the Confederation of Oregon School Administrators, the Chalkboard Project and the Oregon School Boards Association.
