Nancy Golden, who has led Springfield schools as superintendent for the last decade, took over Aug. 1 as Oregon's interim education chief.
OSBA Executive Director Betsy Miller-Jones sat down with Golden last week for a question-and-answer session about the OEIB, school funding and the role that local school board members play in Oregon's education reform movement.
