Morgan Smith joined OSBA’s legal department in September, 2007. He earned his bachelor of arts from Willamette University with a major in history and minors in art history and philosophy in 2003; and his doctor of jurisprudence from Willamette University College of Law in 2007. He is an active member of the Oregon State Bar Association. Prior to joining OSBA he worked as a law clerk for City County Insurance Services in their legal department, working in litigation, specifically defending municipalities. At OSBA, he provides legal advice to OSBA member school districts and works with the PACE insurance program providing counsel and litigation services for PACE member districts.
