Oregon School Law Conference
December 2-4, 2015
Eugene - Hilton Hotel
OSBA, the Confederation of Oregon School Administrators (COSA) and the University of Oregon sponsor this popular annual conference to keep attorneys, administrators, and board members informed about school law issues and changes. This year's conference gathers Oregon educators and the best legal minds on the topic of school law from throughout the state for a two-day seminar. Two general sessions, 15 interest sessions and several small-group discussions characterize this highly interactive and informative event.
Topics will include LGBTQ issues for schools, what opt-out means for school districts, Title IX and high school athletics, and marijuana issues related to students and employees, to name a few. The two general sessions will discuss current topics of interest in Oregon and nationally. One of the general session speakers will be Francisco M. Negron, Jr., General Counsel for the National School Boards Association.
