Labor and Employment Consultant Position
Provides high quality, effective representation for local school districts in collective bargaining, arbitration, unfair labor practice hearings, discipline/dismissal hearings and other personnel related services. Assures local school district interests are protected in contract bargaining with classified and certified employees. Makes recommendations to the Association regarding the development and implementation of policy positions on current labor relations issues affecting local school district governance. Serves in an advisory capacity to Association staff responsible for influencing changes in statues and administrative rules governing public sector labor relations in Oregon.
